Among these requirements is one that the EU’s chief competition regulator doesn’t agree with. This is the requirement that OEMs have to have Google Chrome and Google Search preinstalled. This means if OEMs don’t comply to pre-install Google apps, they will not be allowed to run the Google Play Store. Margerethe Vestager is the EU’s competition chief and she argues that Google’s requirement ensures its own dominance in its own internet ecosystem of services. Surely, Google has an advantage over its search engine and browser competitors. India BJP Seeks to ‘Correct’ History in Class XII NCERT Books

IndNewsX world all news available here The BJP government in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday, 4 July, wrote to the Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry, seeking that a chapter on 'politics of independent India' in the Class 12 political science book of NCERT be "corrected". Among other things, the chapter, titled “Politics of Independent India”, describes the BJP as a party which promotes an agenda of Hindutva. The chapter also touches on the 2002 Godhra riots, and mentions then prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's famous "follow the Raj dharma" advice to the Narendra Modi-led Gujarat government.
