PATNA: A businessman was shot dead in Bihar's Vaishali and another seriously injured in Araria, police said on Wednesday, with the attacks coming close on the heels of a spree of murders last week that still remain unsolved. Dinanath Rai, a transporter from Patna, was shot dead and his body was thrown near the Circuit House  close to the Sadar police station, Vaishali superintendent of police  Manavjit Singh Dhillon  said. Rai was the brother-in-law of  Munna Rai , the chief of Garole block . In the other incident, an egg trader was seriously injured after being shot at in Forbesganj. He has been referred to a hospital in Purnea district  after his condition deteriorated, a district police official said. Bihar opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav  targeted chief minister Nitish Kumar saying law and order was "in ICU in the state". IndNewsX world all news available here To ensure safety and punctuality, the Northern Railways has come up with a plan to tackle the foggy season by providing 2,648 fog safety devices in trains.  The fog safety device which is a GPS based equipment will provide advance warning to loco pilots about the approaching signal.  These devices have also been provided to East Central Railway (877), North Central Railway (537), North Eastern Railway (975), Northeast Frontier Railway and North Western Railway (802). Also, in order to alert the loco pilots about approaching signals during the foggy season, railways will deploy fogmen for placing detonators (a device which generates sound when the train wheel passes over it) on the tracks.  Walkie-talkie sets have also been handed over to the crew and the station staff. Moreover, signal indication booklets and counselling are provided to the loco pilots for working during the foggy season. Md.Kamal
